What is a slurry ice machine?
A slurry ice machine produces fine ice crystals suspended in a liquid. The pumpable mixture can be used for seafood chilling; a cleaning application needs a separately defined process, operating limits and equipment configuration. Explore the GTM machine range.
What capacity should I compare?
Start with your required cooling or cleaning duty. The five GTM catalogue ratings are 2, 4, 6, 8 and 12 t/day, but the mass basis, ice concentration, water temperature and ambient conditions must be confirmed. Compare quotations under matching conditions, rather than using a daily number alone.
Do seafood and cleaning applications use different GTM models?
They share the same base model catalogue. Storage, pumping, water requirements, controls and connections vary with the application. A shared machine specification does not establish suitability for every food, water or cleaning circuit. Compare application requirements.
Does GTMICE provide an onsite pipeline cleaning service?
