GTM slurry ice equipment

GTM slurry ice machines are an equipment starting point for a seafood chilling system. The GTM-80, GTM-100 and GTM-130 have different installation envelopes. Choose a model through an operating-condition review that covers water temperature, salinity, ice fraction, usable output, power supply and the storage and pumping arrangement.

Compare the installation envelope

Model Brochure dimensions Engineering question
GTM-80 680 × 880 × 1350 mm Can the unit and its service access fit the proposed space?
GTM-100 1200 × 1000 × 1550 mm How will storage and pumping connect to the layout?
GTM-130 1200 × 1000 × 1850 mm Is there adequate overhead and maintenance clearance?

What should a capacity figure include?

Ask whether output means solid ice mass, total slurry mass or slurry volume. Those figures are not interchangeable. An equipment selection should also state the ice fraction, inlet water temperature, salinity, ambient conditions and the measurement period. Request an agreed performance basis for your project.

What else belongs in the system?

  • Water treatment or filtration matched to the process.
  • Slurry storage and mixing, where required.
  • A suitable pump, distribution pipework and controls.
  • A cleaning and maintenance procedure appropriate to the application.
  • Electrical, refrigerant and installation documentation for the destination.

Choose the application before the configuration

Use the seafood chilling guide to define handling requirements. For pipeline cleaning, request a separate system assessment; the seafood model listing is not a drinking-water approval.

How do I get an equipment quotation?

Send your country, application, daily or batch demand, water conditions and available space. If a figure is unknown, describe the process and attach technical documents later in the email conversation with Roy.
