Fuzhou Fisheries Expo: Specify Seafood Handling Equipment

Fuzhou Fisheries Expo connects the wider seafood trade with practical handling and processing decisions. For a slurry ice project, the useful starting point is how products move through receiving, chilling and dispatch, especially when species and batch sizes vary. Documenting that workflow helps define generation, storage and distribution requirements without treating every product as the same chilling duty.

The 2026 Fuzhou Fisheries Expo ran on 12–14 June at the Strait International Conference and Exhibition Center. The three-day exhibition was part of a wider fisheries-week programme, with its own event dates. It is a separate series from Fuzhou’s marine equipment exhibition and provides a seafood-focused setting for discussing handling requirements.

Which handling details affect an equipment discussion?

  • Product mix: Identify the species, product form, incoming condition and intended handling method for each main batch. Separate experimental applications from established production requirements.
  • Batch movement: Describe baskets, bins, tanks or other containers and how products enter and leave the chilling step. Share photographs and a simple process sketch.
  • Water conditions: Provide available water composition and temperature, as well as the site’s power supply. Record any product or process limits relevant to the proposed liquid mixture.
  • Measured trial: Agree sampling points, timing, temperature measurements and inspection criteria. Compare results against the existing method using a representative batch.

A short handling demonstration can illustrate a movement or equipment arrangement, but it does not establish a cooling rate, survival result or shelf life. Procurement decisions should use a test record that identifies the product, conditions and procedure. That evidence also helps operations staff reproduce the selected method.

Buyer questions

Is the fisheries expo the same as the marine equipment expo?

No. They are separate Fuzhou exhibition series with different dates and emphasis.

Can several species share one equipment enquiry?

Yes. Describe each main load and explain whether it is processed separately or simultaneously.

Does a demonstration video prove preservation performance?

No. Performance needs measurements and acceptance criteria for the actual product and conditions.

Which data should be recorded during a trial?

Product load, temperatures, timing, liquid conditions and the agreed inspection results.
